What is Cartstr?

Cartstr is a place to go and discover online businesses and services, educate yourself and interact with others around their experiences, online reviews, and recommendations. Users and businesses can establish a social profile page to showcase their reviews or business, exchange messages, become friends, follow each other, like or mark reviews helpful, and create posts. Setting up a Businesses profile will allow businesses to showcase their products and services, engage with customers as well as share specials, features, media, posts, and more.

 

What is a Cartstr business account and why should I use one?

Setting up a Businesses profile will allow businesses to showcase their products and services, engage with customers as well as share specials, features, media, posts, and more.

 

How do I sign-up for a Cartstr Business Account Page?

Cartstr has two different types of accounts which are Personal Accounts and Business Accounts.

To Sign Up for a Cartstr Business Account to showcase your Business, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the ‘Sign-Up’ button on the top right of the home page
  2. Click on the ‘Register’ Tab
  3. Select ‘Click Here to Register Your Business’ on the bottom right of the window
  4. Complete the ‘Add Your Business’ fields and Submit (Note that you can edit details in Account later)
  5. Check your inbox to confirm your email and login to Account
  6. Cartstr will verify your Account and then your Business Profile will be Public

If your business is already showing on Cartstr, you may simply ‘Claim Business’ on the business page and follow the prompts to claim
and verify your business.

If you do not receive a verification email, please connect with us for support.

 

How do I update my business profile page?

When logged into your account, navigate to the ‘My Business’ section on the Dashboard Navigation menu and select ‘Active’. Select ‘Edit’ and the Business Profile Editor will come up where you can update all your business information, pictures, links, offers, products, and more. ‘Preview’ changes and Save/Publish.

 

How do I respond to a review?

When logged into your account, navigate to ‘Reviews’ on the Dashboard Navigation menu. Go to the review you would like to respond you and ‘Reply’. You may also edit or update your reply afterwards by clicking on ‘Edit Your Reply’.

 

How do I respond to a message?

When logged into your account, navigate to ‘Messages’ and go to the user or message you want to respond or message and select. Compose message in the textbox and hit ‘Send Message’.

 

How do I claim my business?

To claim a business listing, simply go to that business profile page and click on ‘Claim Business’. Complete the ‘Claim Business’ form
request and submit. Cartstr will then begin the claim and verification process and you will be notified by email.

 

How do I setup a special offer?

When logged into your account, navigate to the ‘My Business’ section on the Dashboard Navigation menu and select ‘Active’. Select ‘Edit’ and the Business Profile Editor will come up where you can scroll down to the special offer section and add the related details and link that will show up on your business page. ‘Preview’ changes and Save/Publish.

 

How do I make it easier for users to find my business on Cartstr?

Business can use keywords or tags to help users find their products and services. For example, ABC Cloud Soles Co. would use ‘shoes’ as a tag to be found for the shoes they sell. Having a good headline and about section also helps your profile get found. Keywords, tags, and completing or updating your headline or business information can all be done from the ‘My Business’ section.


Is Cartstr responsible for content and reviews posted by users?

Each user is responsible for their own actions, activities, posts, and online reviews they create and post on Cartstr.

People visit Cartstr to share their online reviews and experiences, education themselves on products and services, discover great businesses, and connect. Our expectation is that each and every person that uses Cartstr will treat each other with respect and provide honest and accurate reviews and information. Please find our guidelines to help further assist in expectations.

If there are questions or concerns about reviews or posts on Cartstr please report it or try contacting the user who posted it.

 

How do I report a review, post, user, business, content, photo or other?

Content moderation is taken seriously and all claims should be reviewed against our Content Guidelines.

You may make a report directly on a user page by clicking ‘Report this Profile’ or of any other content, review, post, or business by connecting with us with and detailing the content and violation. Should a moderation or removal event occur, the user will be notified. Note that making a claim against a Review, User, Business, Post, Content, a Photo, or other does not guarantee it will be removed from Cartstr.

 

How does business information get on Cartstr?

Business information is typically created by user reviews, business users, or through public information and databases.

 

How do I reset my password or get assistance with my account?

When you are logged into your account, go to ‘My Profile’ section. From here you are able to update your password by entering the requested information and new password details.
