FAQ’s

Cartstr is a place to go and discover online businesses and services, educate yourself and interact with others around their experiences, online reviews, and recommendations. Users and businesses can establish a social profile page to showcase their reviews or business, exchange messages, become friends, follow each other, like or mark reviews helpful, and create posts.

Cartstr has two different types of accounts which are Personal Accounts and Business Accounts. For Business Account, please see Business Support Section. For Personal Account, please continue reading on.

To Sign Up for a Cartstr Personal Account follow these steps:

  1. Click Sign Up on the Top Right of the Home Page
  2. Click Register
  3. Enter a Username – Note this CANNOT be changed later
  4. Enter the remaining details; Email, Password, First Name, Last Name
  5. Review our Privacy Policy and Checkbox to Agree
  6. Click on ‘Register Button’
  7. You will receive and email to verify your account and you are good to go. Don’t forget to check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see it or contact us for assistance.
  8. Login to use and customize your profile page

If you do not receive a verification email, please connect with us for support.

 

To write a Review on a Business you need to be logged into your account or create an account.

Once you are logged into your account, you can Write a Review from any Business page by simply clicking on ‘Write Review’ or from the header menu, click ‘Write Review’ from most pages and that will bring you to the Business search / write review page. On this page you can search for a business you would like to review and simply click on the ‘Write Review’ button beside the search result.

If the Business you are looking to review is not currently listed on Cartstr, you can easily add it by clicking the ‘Add Business to Review’ button at the bottom of the page and follow the prompts to add and review.

People visit Cartstr to share their reviews & experiences, discover great businesses, and connect. Our expectation is that each and every person that users Cartstr will treat each other with respect and provide honest and accurate reviews and information. Please find our guidelines to assist in expectations.

While logged into your account, go to the ‘My Reviews’ section. From here, go to the Review you wish to update to correct any mistakes or update any content. You may also delete your Review from here as well. Please ensure your review complies with our policies.

When you are logged into your account, simply go to that user’s profile page and/or the page of the business you want to connect with and click on ‘Send Message’. This will pull up a window to create and send your message. Messages and correspondence from other users and businesses will appear in your inbox. If you have already messaged the user or business, you may also continue to read and create messages within your inbox.

When you are logged into your account, go to ‘My Profile’ section. From here you are able to update your profile information, bio information, images, passwords, and more. Note that @usernames selected when account was created cannot be changed.

We recommend you doesn’t accept freebies for reviews and try to stay unbiased. If you do receive freebies, it is best practice to disclose this in your online review.

Login into your account and go to the ‘My Profile’. From here click on ‘Delete Account’. Once you click on this you will be prompted to verify you want to delete your account; click ‘OK’ to permanently delete account.

Public Business Profile pages cannot be deleted, however the personal user / admin associated with the account can be deleted. Please note that by deleting the user associated with the account, this may affect your ability to update the business details, create posts, respond to reviews, etc. in the future.

Each user is responsible for their own actions, activities, posts, and reviews they create and post on Cartstr.

If there are questions or concerns about reviews or posts on Cartstr please report it or try contacting the user who posted it.

Content moderation is taken seriously and all claims should be reviewed against our Content Guidelines.

You may make a report directly on user pages by clicking ‘Report this Profile’ or of any other content, review, post, or business by connecting with us with and detailing the content and violation. Should a moderation or removal event occur, the user will be notified. Note that making a claim against a Review, User, Business, Post, Content, a Photo, or other does not guarantee it will be removed.

When you are logged into your account, go to ‘My Profile’ section. From here you are able to update your password by entering the requested information and new password details.

When you are logged into your account, simply find the business you wish to follow and go to their profile page. While on the business’s profile page, click on the ‘Follow’ button. The button will change from ‘Follow’ to ‘Followed’. News and updates from the business you followed will show up in your feed and a list of business you follow can be viewed in ‘Businesses Followed’ section.
